DISEMBODY, DECORATE & DISPLAY is a triptych contemplating three aspects of museum presentation and acquisition. Once inside a museum, objects with varied original functions can relay single, multiple, even new, meanings to justify their entry: unique one-off, socio-historical importance, freakish curiosity, wondrous bling…

 

Here digitally manipulated images of museum artefacts have been fabricated to form a montage of patterns and groupings that have been further distressed to resemble a museological textile of age.
