HYBRID LIOHUND

THE LIOHUND

Though a canine-feline hybrid, the liohund’s origins were often linked to the gryphon, despite its lack of claws and insubstantial -featherless- wings. A false serenity belied the fact that these were cat-dog adversaries at heart, and thus incapable of reproduction.

One of a series of four hybrids, inspired by medieval bestiaries and the mythical creatures associated with cabinets of curiosities that evoke cultural, mythical and historical references with ambiguity.
